Mission Statement

The Chemical Industry Council of Illinois (CICI) is a statewide trade association whose goals are to ensure the viability and promote the interests of the chemical industry by:

• Gaining public acceptance and understanding through the communication of the objectives and beneficial contributions of the chemical industry.
• Ensuring that public policies and programs are mutually beneficial to the citizens of Illinois and the chemical industry through the provision of leadership, information and service.
• Inspiring and encouraging students' and educators' interest in chemistry and the sciences.
• Attracting and uniting a sufficient number of member companies to support CICI.
